I've been friends with Dan (from Dan + Shay) for almost a decade and it's WILD to see him get to play at things like this! I'm also super proud of them since so many country artists play it safe and never do anything remotely "controversial" around election time.

They both just seem to exude kindness so I've always rooted for them. Seeing them be so vocal when it matters most and when they don't need it for publicity or praise, when it could harm them most, it makes me root for them even harder. The ones who aren't trying to be outlandish or to get noticed who speak up when it could hurt them in the fans' eyes, those are the ones who show their hearts. Those are the album sales for who they are. I hope they feel the love and the gratitude from so many!
