Haven't played the sims in years. Every time I go to Target and see the sims game I go back and forth in my mind if I should buy it or not and end up never buying it.

I haven't bought any expansion packs since TS2, so I've just been playing 3 and 4 as base games. But I've been thinking of maybe getting something for 4 because even though I like it, it feels a bit boring? Or like there's not much to do? Idk.

Wasn't that the huge backlash against 4 when it came out? That EA was asking premium prices for a game that barely had half of what Sims 3 had? IIRC, the Sims 4 base didn't even have pools in it.

They didn’t even have toddlers until they released a patch. The audacity to just get rid of a whole life stage.

Yeah, I remember reading reviews and putting off buying it for quite a while because of stuff like that. Like, 4 looks really nice and I like some of the updates but it feels empty.

I may have just spent £30 on three game packs and a stuff packs as everything is on sale. I feel like I deserve it.

EA know exactly how to keep me on the hook.

I just deleted every sims pack from my computer to free up space and washed my hands of the Star Wars bullshit, but hnnnnnggggh split levels and pagodas, someone stop me
