I was born in 1980. The seventies always seemed to be a sleazy time tinted with a yellow, cigarette haze. The eighties, with neon hues, pop music and ridiculous fashion, just seemed so much more fun.

It sucked that their song was against Another Brick in The Wall, Part II because I would have voted for Close To You against every other on the list except for The Rose, but Pink Floyd's The Wall is just... so amazing, I couldn't. I'm sorry, bb!

I tried to vote better decade by the choices I picked but I was literally tied, so I went through them and picked my favorite song and of all of them, The Rose is my favorite (SMH at it losing so far) so I went with the 1980s and I love the songs from that decade anyways, so... yeah.

(I have to laugh at ONTD picking MJ songs to win considering how ONTD feels about him, though.)
