Christianity is the dominant religion in this country. I don’t know why you would need to hide that part of yourself unless you were being sanctimonious about which can be a turn off for a lot of people.

But I do think he has a point about fans and the industry wanting actors to be a blank slate Persona non grata and performative neutrality.

And social media has really highlighted like never before how pr/performative celebs can be. And fans are satisfied with that performative aspect to a degree because it’s safe enough.
