After her most recent shenanigans I want to say the sketch was Adele's idea.

Hmmmm.....considering the fact that Michael Che is one of the head writers, I'd say that Black men are not tired of this racist trope.

Now I’m not sure if it was clear I was joking. But that’s the general consensus going around on IG

so many white people who have started ~realizing things~ this year about race are like this, where they think they are being anti-racist by fetishizing and over-idolizing black people, like kardashian fake wokeness. it's so annoying because you can tell they get all their half-baked anti-racism "education" from insta stories and not reading the complexities of it. I'm so ashamed to see so many fellow white women perpetuate this bullshit.

"come here for the tall tribesman" as white women walk around with shirtless "african" men in the background?!?!!!?!??!?!?!?! nah yall should be mad MAD at this!!! how did they think this was ok?

Yeah I can see that, it’s disappointing because it’s so common. I did find it so odd that in her little Beyoncé post she put “making us feel loved with your art”. Lemonade is a FUBU project, I get that she’s a fan and that’s great but for a project that’s celebrating black culture, it’s annoying to see her insert herself as “us”

Idk this is odd because when Adele won AOTY for 25, she deliberately spoke about how Bey and Lemonade made her Black friends feel.

I also think it's okay for her to personally identify with the message of Lemonade and also recognize that the album was heavy on Black culture themes. Shrug.

This is a profoundly obtuse take. Like, one of the worst I've seen on this site in awhile.

lol every time black people are brought up someone is always like, "BUT RAPPERS..."

this was not a skit about rappers. rappers are not representing africa, the continent.
