Honestly, who gives a fuck if Jack has to die at this point. Maybe it's because I have never cared about the character but like, if its between... the end of time and the world, and losing supernatural being you've known for a handful of years, meh?

I know tv and movies like to grapple with "is saving one man's life worth more than saving multiple lives" questions but this setup doesn't make me sympathetic to Jack.

I know but if you listen to tumblr you'd think it was just the worst thing in the world because "JACK IS THEIR SON!!!!!". It's so pathetically ridiculous.

I say let Jack go blow himself to save the world. The Winchesters have always been willing to sacrifice themselves isn't it hypocritical to not let Jack, especially when they all insist he's really a Winchester too(being their son and all)

Yeah, I struggle to care about him too. I think partially because I’m overdosed on every person they meet being quickly deemed family - umm, no, I know the show is very much about found family but they could at least be around five minutes first

it's just insane that i was obsessed w this show for more than 5 years and still have only seen a third of it

that said i have been watching some early episodes and save the sexism and general annoying shit that goes on it did have a Special Something for a while there. i don't think i have it in me to ever finish the whole thing, but i might go through and watch the fan-decided favorite episodes or something from seasons 6-15 (jesus) but also lol probably not

i have such nice nostalgic feelings towards the beginning of this show :(

I sometimes miss the early seasons. I don't see killing Chuck as some big positive and hated when the killed Death. I enjoy the monster hunting more than their new obsession with Chuck. I thought the reveal he was God in the Season 5 finale was good and liked when he appeared here and there and just seemed to be cool with free will.
