i think to a white person this might seem petty and greedy but I BET those execs were giving out these passes front left and center to people who were MUCH less talented/profitable than she was and this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. this was just a cherry on top of a microaggressive "ohmgee you're sew sassy" shit cake.

She negotiated for the nanny to get a pass because she didn't have a partner and the kids automatically got one.

Eh, I bet those Marvel actors get that perk. Good for her for leaving. I bet she was only told “don’t you have enough” because she’s a minority. whites don’t ever think whites have enough, no such thing.

I get the sentiment, and I think she did what’s best for her, but knowing I have money and demanding something for free or a lower cost is out of my comfort zone.

This is why I like working union, because I would be terrible at negotiating, even for something I’ve “earned”.
