I've barely used the Apple TV app since getting my iPhone despite the "free membership" and welp @ a 4-pack of Snoopy movies being $34.99 when they are free on YouTube...

I also got a free subscription with my Macbook and I've watched Defending Jacob and Servant, but they just don't have enough content to justify its existence.

I got the free year with my iPad, but they won't allow you to use a PayPal account or debit card with it. Because they still want your payment info even though it's supposed to be free. So I haven't signed up and there's really nothing on there I even want it for. I'll watch Charlie Brown on my DVDs.
