Me too, same. I was told by my mom not to tell my grandfather because her was gonna die soon anyway. (Plus I'm sure there's a possibility he would have hated me then.)

Absolutely. My mother did this and even though I could see what she did and why I did what she told me. I only did it though because there was no love between my grandfather and I anyways so I didn't care what he thought one way or the other and he never asked me about my love life.
I still hate the feeling I had back then though.
