YES, the leaves are changing and they're gorgeous! I stopped to take some photos with my phone today just because the way the light was diffused through these red maple leaves just made them glow in the most stunning way.

Everything I've read about Barrett is infuriating and scary as hell, but the high voter turnout everywhere is keeping my spirits up right now.

The only thing I wonder is if the overall number will outpace 2016 or if same day voting will just be lower. If you get 2008 level turnout it will be a wipeout for Republicans.

I saw a pollster today say it was going to be like 2018 on steroids, which I took to mean Dems were going to take more seats in the House, gain the majority in the Senate and Biden wins.

I've also seen several predictions that we will know the results by 10:30 pm, eastern.

That last part may be true.

Only PA WI AL MS won’t count mail in ballots until Election Day so if the other 46 states have a statistically unbeatable result, the EC will have been met since only PA WI are swing states.

I’m not counting on a confirmed winner that night but wouldn’t that be the real kicker.
