I wonder how Prince William feels about this season. Do you think the little royals (esp archie) will one day watch it and ask questions?

I’m sure they will find out the truth long before they are old enough to watch this.

I mean, at a certain point the younger kids will watch and ask questions, I'm sure. Because you can only control what your kids watch for so long. lol.

And I'm sure Wills will skip watching this season (and probably previous seasons too lol) because he really was a lot more aware of what was happening with his parents than a kid his age should have been. Diana made him a confidant and yeah..... poor kid.

my mother made me her phone confidante from halfway around the world until high school ended, and i realized how fucked up it was... and how much it fucked me up to this day

i know he's the future king and all, but i wouldn't wish that experience on my worst enemy. i hope he avoids watching this

I think they've done a really good job being fair to both Charles and Diana. And also they went into some stuff I didn't know before (lmao like Diana getting into a fight with her stepmother and pushing her down the stairs. omg).

diana was 13 years younger than charles so the fact the show is trying to make them seem like an age appropriate couple is some royalist white washing id expect from peter morgan

also the actress playing diana in this season is like 4? years younger than elizabeth debicki who's gonna play her afterwards cause of course for women 4 years is a lifetime. offended on elizabeth's behalf.

i think there's a 6 year age difference but emma corrin is passable for late teens diana whereas elizabeth debicki has that mature-for-her-age australian actress face thing going on so i think it'll look like pretty clear jump between seasons

Yeah, I think it's also that "demure fluffy-haired Diana" and "bike shorts/cheekbones/pixie cut Diana" really do feel like two radically different looks that would be hard to capture with one actress.

ah only 6 years? makes sense but it+s gonna be interesting from the olivia/imelda perspective

i cant believe they're only giving her 1 seasons, cowards

i have conflicted feelings about this show but it's such a well produced period soap opera i can't quit it
