I hate that LMM is in this but otherwise I loved the first season. The actor playing Lyra is just as I imagined her and now we get to see more of Will as well 😭

This is one of the few instances when a show comes out with a new season where I'm like "... already?"

But tbh, most of the shows I'm watching live rn are on HBO, and this will be no exception. The first season was okay, hoping they improve for S2.

I think the first two seasons were filmed back to back because production was worried about the kids getting growth spurts.

Also, I downloaded the audiobook for 'La Belle Sauvage'. It's really good. I'm halfway through it now. It would be nice if that was made a series in the future as well.

Honestly, I am just super happy that 'His Dark Materials' is getting a proper adaptation. Thank God Phillip Pullman kept trying. It's been worth it.
