I’m just reading some Dear Canada/America books. They’re cute why not.

This book sounds cool, wonder if it’s any good.

Honestly as a Canadian myself even as an ADULT the Canada ones helped me learn so much about stuff that happened in my country! I knew more American history at that point!

[Spoiler (click to open)]I feel the same tbh. I liked the premise and liked a lot of the writing, but didn't feel like it really went anywhere and did not care for the ending. But it could be very pretty to look at onscreen, at least?

The book splits its time between her past, from 1714 onwards, and her life in NYC in 2014, where she basically finds someone she likes and then has to relive their first meeting every day, as the person will forget her when they go to sleep. We also find out that she and the demon, whom she calls Luc, have developed this odd closeness, which eventually does turn into a romance that ends some 30 years before. But then she meets this guy, Henry, who can remember her, and it's eventually revealed he made a deal with the same devil, to be what people ... )
