Nací y viví allá hasta los 19 año, el país es una mierda siempre lo fue. Si el dólar es estable y podes tener COSAS más baratas pero eso no es vida y estás con deudas hasta que te morita y tus deudas no mueren con vos se pasan a tus hijos. No tenes educación gratuita después de la secundaria, no tenes hospitales públicos, y si estás viendo lo que está pasando ahora ya es suficiente. Se que acá hay muchas cosas malas pero allá también. Desde acá todo se ve color de rosa pero te prometo que no lo es

Mis primos viven en USA hace varias décadas, aunque nacieron acá. Creo que no se les pasaría por la cabeza volverse. El shock cultural sería muy grande.

No sé si me gustaría ir a Estados Unidos, conseguir la Visa de trabajo parece imposible, pero sí me gustaría ir a Europa.
Ahora acá están todos averiguando cómo sacar la ciudadanía italiana para irse. Puede ser que seas la única que quede en el país a fin de año, ja!

Volver es re difícil me costo añoooooos estar contenta acá. Y re entiendo la gente que se quiere ir. Yo estoy acá porque mis papas querían volver y yo soy hija única y ni loca me iba a quedar sola allá. Pero bueno lleva tiempo y ahora después de 15 años estoy feliz pero se lo duro que es este país

they then belatedly found out a Spanish actress is just an white European actress but at this point they HAD TO HAVE their Latino diversity so that's probably why they ended up making her Colombian lol. with this bullshit excuse they probably thought was really smart.

Literally only people who refuse to look outside their bubble don't know this. As far back as elementary school I knew Brazilians spoke Portuguese. It was literally apart of the geography lessons we were taught as like third graders. Personally, I think a lot of adults like to play dumb because they think it's cute/funny to be idiots and play into the stereotypes so they willfully forget or pretend they don't know

I think you and I have to be the exceptions. I took home my geography and history books to read for fun. Places outside the US just seemed interesting. But my sisters...they didn’t learn Brazilians spoke Portuguese until much later than I did.
