I’m sad nobody is posting about We are Who we Are, because I have been really enjoying it and actually realized that he’s a great actor because of it. At the beginning I had a hesitation to embrace the show given his past problematic views (yes, I know he was a child) but it really won me over. Looks like he’s come a long way.

...side note, he kind of looks like Emma Watson in the last two pictures.

I haaaaaate his character on the show, to the point where I was almost done after the first ep, but I like it more overall with each subsequent episode.

What I like about the show is that in some ways it feels so barebones (what will all those gorgeous shots of nothing and the dreamy ambiance) but then the characters sort of hit you with their complexities as the story unfolds and I think that makes for great art and character development. When that first kitchen scene happened I was genuinely surprised. Dylan is pulling off the character well.

I saw a comment that said something like "if ~vibes~ were a show" and I concur, lol. Like this last episode... there's some character exploration, to be sure, but mostly we're just watching a spontaneous party unfold and appreciating some of the visual storytelling that goes along with that.

I love Luca's work, but at times in this he echoes/references shots from CMBYN, and that's a little jarring to me in such a different context. But I'm glad the cast and characters of the show are so diverse, and that it's tackling a setting and situation that I have no familiarity with whatsover. And I continue to love his natural integration of multiple languages - I wish more shows and films did that.

Like I said, I hated Fraser as a character from ep one, so ngl, I am having a hard time appreciating JDG's work. But I am hoping that he becomes less insufferable by the end of the show - seems to be the trend so far. Caitlin has been a real bright spot!

always happy to see things like this & i’m sure he’s a sweet kid, tho i do think sometimes people read too much into what moving away from the aesthetics of masculinity can mean. that horrifying video with ezra miller attacking a fan proved that a willingness to transcend masculine gender norms doesn’t necessarily rid you of its violences. still, it’s something

thanks! 💜💜 i may have sounded too harsh lol im jaded and over it. i just dont want anyone to make the mistake i did and think feminine clothes makes a dude anything but a dude. imo theyre way more agressive bc they have complexes fighting their own bullies. its all a doomed loop and i need them all to exit stage right into the sun.

I used to be able to wear heels for hours but spending so much time inside barefooted thanks to Corona it seems like my feet got used to freedom.

Love it when in some parodies shonen artist draw their characters in the Lady Oscar shojo style when shocked
