when I was a freshman in college, I landed an amazing PAID internship. A real unicorn. I had a male boss who was in his late 40s. For my birthday, he said he wanted to buy me a gift. We pulled into the neiman Marcus parking lot, and I was giddy af because I was broke and here was this kind man willing to buy me an expensive gift.

he walked me straight to the lingerie section and said I could buy as many bras as I liked. then he asked one of the attendants to come and fit me for a bra.

I knew I felt gross about the whole thing, but I lacked the confidence to say anything. I turned down his offer, but he insisted. I walked away with $500 worth of bras. he told me to wear one of the bras the next day, and that it would be like instantly taking 10 lbs off my figure.

I wish this would happen to me now because I would make a loud, embarrassing scene and maybe even push his teeth through the back of his gd throat.
