I'm really interested in Possessor, it looks creepy af. Maybe it'll play at the drive in near here.. I doubt it.

A Call to Spy looks right up my alley. I'll watch The Boys in the Band but I also plan to watch the original after as I hear it's better. Super excited about The Glorias for both Julie Taymor and Sarah Ruhl, plus the cast is fantastic!

My city's LGBTQ+ film fest just started today, so for the next 11 days I'll be watching a tonnes of LGBTQ+ content. Already today I've watched a film about a man trying to escape to Canada with his young trans son; a documentary about fat queer women called Well Rounded; and a documentary about a secret whistle lesbians in Albuquerque used to identify each other. Only 150 more to watch! (The festival has 36 features and 94 short films!)

As soon as ratings were allowed, The Glorias instantly had a 2.8/10 user rating on IMDb (it's now up to 3.4). There were four actual reviews and hundreds of star ratings. Isn't it fucking great how much people hate women/feminists 💖

I'm so bummed bc I assumed Queen of Black Magic, which streamed live last night but at 11 PM my time, would be in my Alamo on Demand library like the other Fantastic Fest movies but it's not there. I couldn't watch it last night - I was too tired. Tonight's movie is Bloodthirsty, which I really want to see so I need to make sure I'm awake at 11 PM when it streams lol.

I finished up my Slasher September and now I'm onto Hooptober. Already got some movies done for the challenge. Gonna be watching the Vampires vs the Bronx for it!
