I might be in the minority but I found part 1 of this podcast with Lauren was super strange and forced.

It sounded like Whitney and Lauren literally had not spoken a word since The Hills. There was so much they were catching up on for the first time, I expected there to be alot but it sounded like Lauren really did not keep in touch. And Whitney was playing catch up and they were just on separate pages.

Whitney tried though, I'll give her that. A little too hard imo, but try nonetheless.

Lauren really does keep her circle close and life under wraps. I love it. Even catching up with Whitney it seemed like she was holding back alot. Girls got a very private life, its respectable.

Whit probably just wants ratings and we as a gossip site + teens from the 2000s who are now adults are just eating it up

it was so boring. as someone who watches whitneys videos i think she does best when shes with someone who talks a lot/is funny (like her husband). i dont think lauren is entertaining enough to make whitney a good interviewer lol

yeah Lauren came across... guarded and aloof at times. Like Whitney was having to pull answers out of her, which whenever that happens, it just makes an interview awkward and contrived.

I rewatched The Hills recently and all of Lauren's friends were the WORST and she had to put up with so much shit. I can't believe she even bothered befriending Stephanie, who was such a snake. I think she also actually liked Audrina/considered her a real friend for a while but got over it once she realized Audrina barely put in any effort into their friendship and that whole accusing LC of hooking up with Justin Bobby was so stupid

I think Whitney was the realest and chillest out of everyone, but I think Lauren probably had some jealousy/resentment for her bc Whitney was always better at her job/got recognized for it too lol
