Watch ENOLA HOLMES stars Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, and Sam Claflin put on their detective hats to solve who's behind these super zoomed-in photographs.
I LOVED Enola Holmes. I watched it last night and had a lot of fun. Millie is so good! it is hard to lead a story like this one, with all the narration and talking to the audience. she was great. I want to see more!
and I was shipping Enola and the lord with the weird name! they were so cute!
mbb was super charming and a lesser actress wouldn't have been able to carry that whole film! i could've done without:
- about 30 minutes of runtime - the shadowy references to 'the reform bill' - it's weak to avoid explicitly explaining something half your film hinges on - the love interest tbh
i've never liked henry cavill even before he revealed himself to be a rl creep but he was passable in this even though it was hard to buy him as intelligent? i wish mycroft (the character, not the actor) hadn't been written QUITE so awful... otherwise idk it was a fun film! i hope we get a sequel
i have literally no idea what this movie is about and this video has made me even more confused...it seems like there's 23423523 charactes??? however it looks fun so maybe i'll watch tonight since it's on netflix
I mean... there are a normal amount of characters. Milly is the main and there are probably like half a dozen other supporting. Henry/Sam are not really in it as much as I was expecting, given how much promo they've been doing.
I mean, there are a lot of people in the movie, but, like, I don't deem railcar attendant #2 to be one too many characters.
Beyond the Holmes family, the kid, the assassin, Edith, and the other detective guy... I'm not exactly drowning in characters. Even adding in the kids family is another 2 people only.
