Some white person plz hire me as a personal diversity coach. I for sure got some coaching for that ass.
But for real, there's a certain type of rich white who is looking to throw money at anything that assuages their guilt. Meanwhile, they will never do anything to destroy the systems that gave them their wealth at the expense of black people. But hey, there's money to be made if you a soulless finesser.
tbh i can’t fault anyone getting into this particular racket robin diangelo should not be profiting more than black ppl in the anti-racism industrial complex. you can always divert those funds back into the community lol 🙃
For sure. I'm bout to set up my diversity consultant page on Squarespace lol. But for real, this work should be left to the professionals, not folks just trying to make a buck.
lmao "Diversity coach". Maybe I'm just too cynical but between this and that White Fragility book it's all just performative wokeness, saying the "right" things and another way to cash in while doing absolutely nothing. Remember all those corporations posting BLM on their social media a few months ago despite all the stories of racist shit happening to their black employees?
josh/@/queersocialism published a piece recently that touches on that
"the anti-racist economy has failed to create any substantial allies or anti-racists. but instead created a culture of uncontested political performativity & groomed more benevolent self-aggrandizing white people."
