I can't really do movies with characters who have dementia. I'm so lucky that my grandparents didn't have it, but my great aunt did and other relatives and it is fucking awful. I wouldn't wish that on anyone because it rips your own life away from you and your friends and family talk about you as if you're already dead because the "you" the knew and loved is gone.

my Grandma had it and it was awful. She went from pretending to know who we are to just not knowing at all. The look on my dad's face when she said hi to him as if he was a stranger.
