Nnnn I low key stan but imagine the risk if it was totally off you’d have to re do the casting and there’d be a delay in production since the new actor would still have to work with the dialect coach

He's done this with many of his films and no director has been disappointed or complained about it yet.

This director is not complaining either, he's just sayin. And he goes on to say that Pattinson did tons of research on accents in the region and watched hours of video from the 1950's, studying accents and the way preachers moved back then.

He's a professional, he just has a different process.
