The conversation surrounding the characters on The Office is always so confusing to me. Especially when it's like "Was X actually kind of an dick?" All of the characters on the show were as bad as each other that was kind of the point of the show.

This is exactly why 99% of UK to US tv remakes don't work here over time. American audiences are way too obsessed with needing characters to be likable, and our show writers will lean into that (ex: how they tried to make Michael likable and give him a nice romantic plotline lmao), so you end up with nobody getting the damn point and arguing over whether someone who was a dick was, in fact, a dick.

Yea Michael getting made fun of or failing often was some of my favorite scenes of the show. When it went towards making him likable, it definitely made me lose interest (there’s multiple reasons why I dropped the show, it’s just one of the reasons)

Same. I know most people liked him and Holly, but I just did not care about Michael Scott having a whole romantic plotline and becoming likable. Same with the Michael Scott Paper Company plotline. He was funniest when he was just clueless and bad at everything in life lmao

I actually worked at a small company where the CEO was almost exactly like Robert California except meaner and his hair was always heavily gelled. I know a lot of people thought that character was OTT and cartoonist but I watched him like "....this is too real"

Side note I can't believe the source expects me to click through a 30 page slideshow. This isn't 1995, MSN. I don't have that kind of time.

charles minor was just not fun at all. out of the non-main characters, phyllis and kelly made me laugh the most

Dumbass list. Robert California is hilarious.

By saying the most epic quote ever ("GET OUT, SKELETON MAN!"), Nellie deserves to be way way higher.

Todd Packer is the worst and there's really no competition, he's the most awful of them all.

The "little boy, trying to catch a balloon" part always gets me. I didn't like her at first, but she really grew on me and I love her now. Tahcko. 😆

I liked oscar though. His deadpan humor was nice and he formed a nice foil to the louder antics of Michael?

I hated creed too. Idk why he's that high? Dwight kind of deserved the top position

Really? I love Creed. He's a true wild card.

Creed is high because he's incredibly popular with fans. Honestly you're possibly the first person I've seen express something negative about him.
