I remember a story about some Versace party where other guests included Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow. Apparently, as soon as Jlo walked in, they all got up to leave.
Her ego is definitely legendary. The talent she boasts of isn't. That whole post-Gigi era really served her humble pie.
She kind of cops to being a brat, but also says she doesn't treat people below her like shit:
"Just because I know my strengths doesn't mean I have a huge ego. The one thing I cannot tolerate in Hollywood is this trickle effect of every single person--from the top with your studio guys--pissing on who-ever is below them. Nobody can say that I treat people like that ever. When it comes to my work, I am an ogre, because I want it to be so good.... But that's the only thing anyone can say about me."
I love this series. I really miss those old, uncensored, PR-not-present interviews that big-name celebrities did. Like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston with Dianne Sawyer, Britney with Matt Lauer, even that Charlie Sheen one from a few years back (where he talked of fucking hookers). It was such an interesting peek into who these people really are.
