I feel like releasing music playing off of real life break-ups is something a lot of artists have done but idk, IDFWU feels different than any other examples I can think of. It's ONLY rude/petty and using the "crazy ex" stereotype. Trash!

they were both fairly petty after the break up in their own ways, though this song was way worse and it's ridiculous that he didn't regret it until now. also, seems kinda fucked up to speak for her and say she liked it when she's on record as saying she didn't. but, it does seem that they made amends at some point before she died

yeah like their relationship was theirs and however they resolved stuff that happened over 5 years ago is their business but he shouldn’t lie on her now esp since you know people are gonna spread excerpts from her book that they probably wouldn’t have read otherwise. now it just looks like he’s saying whatever he wants because she can’t speak against him. ik he’s grieving in some way rn but it would be better to just own up to it being a petty and disrespectful thing to do to someone you used to love. even moreso with the “well i wouldn’t have done it if i’d know you’d die like that” like just own your sh*t.
