Letitia's tweet 😭

I have been wondering why his death hit me so hard. It's just he had this beautiful warm aura, and just the unfairness of it all. He deserved so much more. I hope he's resting in peace finally

He had such warm eyes and his smile and his passion, caring, and curiosity just all came through. Like, some people you can tell just...care...as part of who they are.

And now, of course, we will see all of his notable work in a different light, but all of the above remains intact and always will.

Yep, I’ve been a mess since I heard. I’ve never seen a superhero movie but I would watch all the Black Panther interviews on youtube for his personality and the way he interacted with his co workers, he was just so warm and gracious. BP was going to be the first movie I watch when Disney+ finally get here, it will be so painful now

It's cos he made such great passionate art you could tell it came from his heart and wasn't just for the paycheck. Plus, he was unproblematic in every way. Educated with such poise that it resonated in his interviews and his persona wasn't forced or Hollywood fake.

he was the real deal.

That's my take anyway.

He was so universally respected and loved. Not a bad word about him. It hurts that his life was cut so short. I hope his family is doing okay
