How awful. Hopefully she beats this.

I had a PAP smear the other week and my doctor just left me a message that atypical cells were found but I tested negative for HPV. I'm waiting for her to call me back, but it seems like I'm alright and will just get another PAP next year. I did some civilian googling and found that the atypical cells will essentially resolve themselves after a year or so in cases like mine. Still, kind of scary lol.

That's happened to me before too and my body just healed itself! Not much to worry about <3

Besides if they were atypical, my gyno said that they can take years to turn into cancer, so as long as you are regularly getting a pap you'll be okay!
