I need to do a rewatch of Center Stage. The dance numbers were to DIE for.

I wish this was on Netflix so I could see what's the fuss.

When Sascha popped up in A Nutcracker Christmas a couple of years ago I felt like he looked like he hadn't aged but maybe it's just been awhile since I've seen Center Stage lol

Speaking of ballet I think I am slightly bow legged. Like when I put my legs together and stand up straight there’s a gap between my legs and my knees don’t touch. Its like I have a thigh gap lol. And also don’t know if it’s related I can’t stretch my legs very high in the air or turn out well, like my hip literally makes this cracking/popping noise when I try to turn it out so it’s not related to my flexibility but my hip socket mobility? Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or feels they’re bow legged?

I have the opposite problem with my arms because I have double jointed elbows and my ballet teacher used to always tell me to turn in my arms when I literally couldn’t lol.

Could be cracking/popping noise just be that there's air between your joints? It usually goes away when you do some stretches and warm up exercises if that's the case.

Full Disclaimer: I am not a medical expert, if your hip actually hurts or you feel like the popping is caused by your joints or bones grinding against each other or snapping in and out of place like it's slightly misaligned, then you should definitely get that x-rayed to see what's going on since it could severely affect your spine and the way you walk/sit in the long run.

Thanks! Hmm yeah that’s a good point, my knees also crack a lot when I bend down so I don’t know if it’s just air between my joints. I think I have poor hip mobility but I don’t know if it’s something that can be improved or if it’s just bone structure. My hip doesn’t hurt in any way but I will get it checked out at some point though.

If it doesn't hurt then it just might be air, but it doesn't hurt to get it checked out after the pandemic. I have a cousin who couldn't get his licence because he couldn't turn his head far enough to the left to check his blind spot when changing lanes. He's seen loads of doctors but they couldn't figure out what was wrong with him until one of them realized it was because he had uneven arches in his feet. It messed up his posture and spine since his body was more tense on one side to make up for the stress it put on the other side, and the tension made its way up to his neck. He wore orthopedic shoes for I think 2 years and he has much better mobility in his neck now. He also said his back doesn't hurt like it use to so that's a huge plus.
