I like this song, you can say everything you want about Beyoncé (even fueling a romanticised wakandified view of Africa, which btw too many ppl consider as a country rather than a continent for whatever reason) but she can put out gorgeous videos and bangers
People have made some pretty valid criticisms about Bey using capitalism and Africa. However, I feel like the representation that she's been doing in regards to blackness and loving your blackness. It's super helpful for young black and brown children to see this.
