Whoa. Blows my mind that Thong Song didn't go #1 yet another song of his I've never heard did.
I think the ONLY 2 Sisqo songs I could name off the top of my head are Thong Song and How Many Licks w/ Lil Kim.

Also re: Clay Aiken. I forgot how massive he was for a bit. He had such a rabid Claymate fanbase.

these posts just reiterate that #1's don't mean shit in terms of longevity and impact. WAP is the first song in a long time that feels like a #1 and a cultural reset

Oh god, "Butterfly" or "With Arms Wide Open" were played constantly when I was a youth... if I ever hear either of those songs again, it will be too soon.

Oddly enough, I did have a soft spot for that Lonestar song... I think because I danced to it with a guy I liked at a school dance.
