I only ever watched CSI Miami and Vegas, I loved both. Me and my mom would spend hours watching old reruns late at night

OG CSI was such a strange show in hindsight.

Definitely stranger than its peers. I am wholely unsurprised that Tarantino saw it and said "I wanna direct an ep!"

And my god it got dark. And darkly hilarious.

Altho Miami is still one of the greatest comedies I've ever seen.

NY is more in line with all the interchangeable CBS procedurals altho I dont mind watching it. It was good and I loved the characters.

Tarantino was also obsessed with Charmed so he had some weird taste in TV in general.

CSI was very weird for many reasons, and what's blown me away the most is how it was the massive worldwide phenomenon that somehow died off and had zero cultural impact. And not for a messy GoT or Dexter reason. It was like people just went, "That's enough fingerprinting I think."

I feel like NYC was under appreciated. I really enjoyed the characters.

IMO, Vegas > NYC > Miami

I was really into the miniature killer storyline.

No Marg Helgenberger? I don’t even know if her character is still alive (didn’t watch the final seasons) or what’s going on in her personal life, but when I think of CSI I think of her and Grissom

I'm pretty sure she was there til the end. They replaced Grissom with Ted Danson, which made me laugh. It was such a weird fit, but also felt sexist to not just let Helgenberger take over as lead.

Her character left a couple of seasons before the show ended to join the FBI, but came back for the grand finale movie thing and owns a casino her dad left her.

Marg is a series regular on All Rise so doubt she can do both.
