Tonight's gonna be a fun one you guys, I'm like, totally buggin'!

What did you watch this week? I rewatched Argo with my husband last night because my new movie podcast follow, Truth vs Hollywood covered it this week. I just adore Scoot McNairy & it was fun seeing him w/ Kerry Bishé (Donna) for a little Halt & Catch Fire reunion in my heart.

I watched a movie called The Last Lamb on HULU about a young girl's crisis of faith amongst an all-female cult lead by GOT's Michiel Huisman. I've never seen The Witch, but i think it might have similar vibes & atmosphere in a way. The cinematography was incredible.

I also joined a live movie viewing with commentary of the Addams Family Values on a platform called CYA, cohosted by the guys of We Hate Movies & Griffin Newman of the Blank Check Podcast. I got called up live for trivia, got to talk to all the guys, got second place (lost a tie-breaker IMDB Tribune question) & while I tried to play it cool on camera, I was totally fangirling. Best part of my week by a mile.

There isn't much of a plot to be had, but it's very atmospheric & a character study kind of piece, so if you're able to handle a slow burn, I think it's worth the journey. Honestly, the bucolic views of the Irish countryside where they shot it are well worth the "price of admission" alone imo. Also, Michiel Huisman looking like some kind of hot but terrible Jesus figure.

I watched The Last Lamb! I thought it was really beautiful but I preferred The Witch.
