It's still ridiculous for her to be in a conservatorship for this long. If she's fine and able to work how is she not able to be in control of her own money and life?

I get that the free-Britney movement has a lot of awful people attached to it that don't care about Britney but I can't help but feel some of the criticism of Britney's team, family and father are warranted. Some fans do really care.

Not to mention the very real history and ongoing reality of misogyny within the psychiatric realm. People aren't being conspiracy theorists when they're skeptical a grown women has been under her father's control for this long, especially when money's involved.

They are when they send her sister/boyfriend hate because of it. They are when they harass her underaged son. They are when they believe Sam Lutfi and want him back in her life.

Sure, that's bad, there's really not a lot of people denying that-I even said in my comment below that fans were too invasive with her health, especially when Britney's life has been largely scrutinized since childhood. That doesn't change the fact that conservatorships are mainly targeted at women and that Britney's especially makes no logical sense. You shouldn't be bothering her family members about it but that doesn't mean you need to take her father's word at face value either.

Fans are way too invasive with her health, especially considering this movement sprung out of larger conversations surrounding bodily autonomy but I don't trust this man for a second. There's no way to explain away the contradiction that Britney is sick enough to need her entire life and finances controlled for her but well enough to keep up a Vegas residency, judge a reality show, and occasionally put out new music.

The fans need to step off, they do not know more than her doctors. And especially because this has become less about Britney's actual wellbeing and more about drama and conspiracies.

Her mom has stepped in. She filed a few weeks ago to be a part of her finances.
