I am definitely interested in several of these. I feel like whenever I come into these posts (which are great, btw!) I either can’t watch the trailers at the time or don’t feel like watching them. I still enjoy the posts though!!

Plot: A group of friends who summon a nasty supernatural entity while holding a seance over Zoom.

OMG, 'white people, leave the spirits/spiritual world ALONE' challenge.

Films I watched this week:

The Rental - Directed by Dave Franco. I was perfectly whelmed. Not great and not terrible. It was pure entertainment and not much else.

Amulet - This was not what I expected. It was kind of arthouse horror. A little slow at times and a completely confusing yet visually interesting ending. I need to read an explanation on this film, but I left feeling confused.

The Beach House - This was filmed near where I use to go to the beach as a child so I had to watch it based on that alone. There were some really great ideas in here (and some awesome scenes) but not enough was explored. Too many unanswered questions.

mte re: The Rental. I feel like there was a good movie under of all it, if it had tried a bit more and gone with the twist a lot sooner.

I watched "The Beach House" last weekend and felt the same way. A little more explanation for what was happening would have improved it.

Only here to comment that "Kentucker" is a truly awful name. Why would you do that to another human being?
