Emmy rossum was so good in shameless especially season three of four it’s a shame she never got anything for it but frank who should have died early on kept getting noms every year haven’t watched any of the others but I love Billie piper so I’ll just agree with that one anyway as well

I'm right there with you. Eva Green is so underrated. She's great in everything she's in but her casting as Vanessa was perfection.

Agreed with all of these, especially Emmy who is always acting her ass off. And Eva Green was unparalleled in episode 2 of Penny Dreadful already with that seance scene, COME ON

I think she had some really strong moments, like her nice guy monologue in 2x08 and I liked her in other things but overall her acting didn't work for this show and stood out in a bad way.

I've tried to like her....but I just don't see the talent. She's not bad, but she's not great.
I honestly think people rate her because of what her character said in S2 Penny Dreadful but if it had been antifeminist, no-one would have rated it.
