Mike was pissing me off this episode. I DO get that he can feel that things are going on and no one is telling him what it is. BUT COME ON. You KNOW that Courtney's absentee dad is downstairs. MAYBE GIVE HER A MOMENT ALONE WITH PAT TO DEAL WITH HER FEELINGS???

Her real dad was such a piece of shit though, omg. I mean, it was kind of obvious that he was, because why else would he have disappeared from her life when she was 4 years old? I think that's probably a big part of why she had to believe that Starman was her dad. She had to believe there was a real reason her father ghosted her (because he died saving the world) because otherwise... her dad just didn't care about her and that's a lot harder to handle.

Also a piece of shit? Brainwave. Using a memorial assembly at his son's school AFTER HE MURDERED HIS SON to psych Courtney out? What a dick.
