I feel like we should have had it FOREVER AGO UGHGHGHHGHGHGHG ARGHGHGHGG. I'll need to do a full S2 rewatch now, it's been that long, living memory can't search back that far in time.

Believe me we definitely HAVE been, we were getting “coming soon” commercials back in fucking February I kept assuming it’d premiere in the spring. I’ll probably do a rewatch too but I do remember Ethan Peck’s Spock was great lol.

picard was so god awful it killed my interest in star trek until this last month when i returned to TOS and it soothed my soul again. i hope they completely shake it up for s2.

is there any more news on the reboot films bc if we have to have 100 marvel films we at least deserve another one of those :((

I was so hyped for Picard but I quit it when they [Spoiler (click to open)]killed Hugh off. Star Trek was built to be a hopeful show so seeing storylines that are just hopeless and depressing for no good reason... I can't.

god right??? hugh was like a corner stone of the hopeful nature of star trek, humanising the biggest villains of the show and showing even the best of us have prejudices to overcome w/ picard learning to treat him as a person too. killing him was proof that show cared more about shock and mystery boxes than actual meaning or message.
