This is a stupid question but is any Emmy still an Emmy? Are the prime time Emmy’s more prestigious? I seriously have no idea. I pay attention to Oscar and Grammy.

An Emmy is an Emmy. The only difference is that primetime emmys get more showcase. The degree of prestige probably leans more towards prime time because we hear more about it but it also depends on whether you watch more daytime or nighttime tv.

Prime time is more relevant, unless you're watching soaps and kids shows mostly lol. But it's still the highest award you can get for daytime TV programming so it can't hurt.
