When it comes to method acting, are only the men annoying and disruptive about it? I've never heard any stories of women being assholes on set bc they're method acting.

I’ve read that she’s said that she changes her method for every role because unless you’re playing the same character, shouldn’t it change?

It's mind-blowing to me how method actors are taken so seriously when imo it's the people who can switch on/off on command who are the real masters. I remember watching an audition where the girl was cracking jokes & the minute they said action her face dropped and she started crying as if her family had been murdered. And it was so fucking emotional I didn't even remember she was laughing just a minute ago. That's what powerful acting is.

100%. I find it much more interesting to see people "go" into character, and it's clearly harder.
