Omg, this. Everyone thinks it’s so easy to do a Long Island, NY, NJ accent but there is actually a lot of subtlety in it to make it sound good/right. Quite frankly a lot of actors suck at it. It’s not just about dropping the “Rs” and calling it a day.

Hugh and Allison were trying so hard to hit everything and enunciate it was just...silly. like who told them this sounded good.
