i'm having more body issues than i ever have honestly compared to being younger. like it's the fact that i'm getting older and that the body changes and so you have to make a more conscious effort to like...do something about it and i don't like that??? it's moreso stuff with skin or internal issues, not really how much i weigh if that makes sense. i've never been skinny and don't really plan on it.

I feel this hardcore. I didn't notice my body much when I was younger, largely because I was so depressed and insecure and shy that the idea of like, "being seen as attractive" seemed totally alien, so I didn't worry about it. Then I got older and kinda got more mentally healthy but somehow that made me MORE aware of my body? This seems unfair lol.

I feel like stuff starts catching up with you in regards to aging and then you start blaming yourself like "oh, if I'd eaten differently or worn sun screen or whatever, then I wouldn't be dealing with this problem right now"....which of course isn't useful and probably isn't true but it's frustrating to feel like you don't have control over what your body is doing.

and yes, i have ednos, and not being able to go to the gym in the last year has really killed my psyche and the weight gain has fucked up my already terrible personal issues with my body. like i feel like if i'm in this weird limbo where it's okay to present myself and walk around like i'm in some sort of internment camp of my own creation simply because of my current weight :/
