I’ve always used turbo tax because they break everything down into simple terms so well but The patriot act episode on it made me feel bad about it, lol. His staff compiled links to the free versions though if you want to try it:

This year, I legit filed zero dollars for income and got the COVID stimulus. So just try to do something in just for that, and then backtrack afterwards to get it correct with the IRS. They’ll actually reasonable and friendly (if you ever get them on the phone). Seconding the freebie online tax filing as well, those are usually pretty good at walking you through the steps.
