Looks like a fun summer flick. Nothing about it past the first opening shots says New Orleans to me but that might just be because it's a trailer.

I hope it was filmed there, so much of the time movies are just set in places...

They filmed in New Oreleans (not sure how much though), it was shot back in 2018 and JGL posted some bts photos from New Orleans.
