If you like that dirty rat Daryl Dixon, sure. Otherwise, no.

I stopped watching it awhile ago because every episode was practically the same.

including joyce's death on the same list as glenns from twd is stupid and misunderstands that character death can be an important tool in a tv show to tell a story and send a message. joyce dying didnt hurt btvs- dawn never having much purpose after season 5 did

Agreed. [Spoiler (click to open)] I kept waiting for Dawn to do something magical or even somewhat nonmagically exceptional being the key that could bring in an eternity of darkness and whatnot. Instead, we got Xander as a teenage girl without the sometimes useful military knowledge. But she did knock Xander out that one time so there’s that.

That was what I didn't get. We got a one liner that blithely dismissed it as apparently not a problem any more (and to be honest sounded like a naive assumption on Dawn's part), then nothing about it ever again.

Yeah looking back it doesn't make sense within the context of the show that this massive ball of energy that can rip down dimensional walls was transfigured into a human and that human isn't even like... mildly telekinetic or something?

JT on Degrassi. Adam on Degrassi.

I don’t think I’ve watched the episode after John Ritter died, for 8 Simple Rules since the first time it aired. I just can’t.

i've watch the 8 simple rules ep twice, once when it aired and another to rewatch it years later, and it was brutal. i still remember when i heard on the news of his passing and was in shock bc i didnt realize he had died. i do think the ep was done beautiful and it really was a great tribute to john. i dont think i can watch it again anymore.

john was really the light of the show especially when you watch bloopers and he was always hilarious. the show simply wasnt the same with david spade and james garner. i do really love that the cast still remain close.

They really did a great job with that 8 Simple Rules episode. You could tell how real their emotions and pain was. It still makes me sad to think about.

As sad as it is, Joyce's death def didn't almost ruin Buffy. It's one of the best episodes.

Came here to say this. It was a great episode... and Joyce being gone didn‘t ruin anything. It actually added a new angle to the story.

Now when Tara died though, I was pissed off. That was just so completely pointless.
