I was a big Emma fan for a long time and idk how much I believe those just bc that just fits w the narrative that people came up with when we were younger- she came from money and was an athlete as well as in a dance troupe, kinda preppy, kinda aloof.

I’ve always thought that if a common rumor persists after so many and remains unchanged its most likely true. Unless someone manages to disprove it (which does happen every now and then).

one of my supervisors at my first job went to school with kim cattrall and DECADES later he was still pissed she wouldn't go out with him in high school and would vent about how women never pick ~the nice guy and then demand i tell him what was wrong with women. and no matter what i said he'd say women were liars and he was a great guy.

I'd often hang out at the LA Baha'i Center and go to events with a friend and through her met a struggling musician named Andy Grammer. He was a super friendly and sweet guy and we'd see him sometimes on Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade as one of many guys with guitars trying to shill for coin. I keenly remember when he first got signed and when "Keep Your Head Up" first played on radio. He's still the same awesome guy who hasn't let fame gone to his head and I'm glad he now has name recognition.
