I haven't watched it yet, I loved the soundtrack so much and I have the production book and play bills and script and rons book, but I'm so scared it won't be as good as it is in my head. It is so stupid but im scared to be disappointed
It was the same for me. Never seen the show, (even tho I had tickets to it once, but couldn’t go because of some issues, boo!), but I had the soundtrack memorised, and I have the production book. Was scared of watching it, but I just watched it a few hours ago, and it really is amazing. Makes me want to watch it in theatre even more!
I saw it on Broadway last year and loved it! That Hamilton was sooo hot (he may have still been the current pre-COVID one) And I’m still looking for a way to watch this. Disney simply doesn’t want to take my money
one of the things i was struck by the most was the acting. i've seen it live in sf 3 times but never had great seats so it's not like we can see the actors' expressions.
but damn leslie odom jr. broke my heart 800000 times. he's phenomenal.
Burr was a grade A asshole irl, but it was amazing to see Leslie’s Burr get more downtrodden and demoralized the more he feels he’s slighted by Hamilton throughout the play.
I saw the traveling show in Phx and you can’t tell that from way back.
