I hope it's a true reflection of his support since he was able to fill up arenas with a mix of paid actors and actual supporters. but idk. Racist dumbfucks sure do show up to vote.

Meanwhile someone shot up a bar last night in Minneapolis, uptown because it was max capacity because in the middle of a pandemic it appears everything else is more important than testing and healthcare and lives???! He is truly one of the most disgusting thing to ever happen in United States history and that is saying something considering this country and dropped nuclear bombs and endured over 400 years of slavery and massacred it’s land’s Native people.

I live 5 blocks from the shooting and it’s continuing to degrade the mental health of everyone in this city. Trump has truly fucked up everything.

I know Kpop fans are a diverse group of people (hell, I’m a kpop fan) and I appreciate the activism, but I’m wondering when a lot of these fans are gonna pull the rug from under everyone’s feet. Like, a large chunk of them are notoriously racist. Calling black Kpop fans monkeys and niggers cuz they called oppa and unnie out. It’ll be interesting to see how both idols and the Kpop fandom at large move ahead in the future. Will they be more willing to listen when idols are called out about appropriation or will they go back to calling dissenters apes and jiggaboos?

I do feel like it's moving in a better direction. They're less selfish these days and from the looks of it alot of idols are owning up to their bullshit so their Stan's are becoming less annoying. And seems like they've been organizing more meaningful events so theres that.

However the anti blackness among K-pop stans needs to be addressed.

Exactly. And the answer is never, idols are NOT owning up to their bullshit at all. People are getting passes by donating money, its not like anyone is taking responsibility for anything bad they’ve done. Look at BTS. Jim Jones controversy, the idol didnt even apologize from his own mouth, and then a 1 million dollar donation and their fans are convinced they’re the most woke group alive again. Kpop stans are up their own fandom and their faves asses.

See you mention Suga not apologizing, I wonder if Jungkook ever did. I know Jaehyun and Cha Eunwoo did more than a few times. I wonder if BH is like don’t bother, and tried to smooth it over with a donation.

I don’t think every fandom is like that, tho. A lot of my mutuals have been heavily critical of their faves doing the least.

I cackled when MSNBC showed his overflow stage being dismantled.
