Everything about this case makes me mad. Especially Lena's bold lie. I can just visualize the little hamster wheels in her head going "well, you can't just say somebody lied about being raped... oh, I know, I will suggest I know something others don't" (what kind of "insider knowledge" could she even have, even in theory? The guy telling her "oh, she's lying, I totally didn't do that"? What else?)

She's probably still lying. A private apology is only the first step when you publicly accused a young woman of lying about rape, and also lied yourself in order to further smear her.
