A&E has canceled its flagship series Live PD, one of the highest-rated shows on basic cable. A week after Live P.D. was pulled in the wake of George Floyd’s death, the reality series’ hiatus has been made permanent

Rightfully so, I think if we achieve no truly lasting change from these events, one thing that will stick will be the "vilification" of cops, their glorification in media and tv will slow down or even completely stop. we love to see it.
These pigs couldn't even help themselves but to attack very young and very old white people on camera, if they can do that to these 2 "delicate" white groups imagine the lack of fucks they give about black bodies?

They're framing it as though they're stopping production because they're trying to be thoughtful and progressive by meeting "with community and civil rights leaders as well as police departments," but they're not giving up so much. The show featured so much bad behavior on the part of the cops and if that's what we saw live I can't imagine what happens off camera. The fact that they destroyed video of the death of a man pulled during a stop shows that they're full of shit.

My husband and I used to hate-watch their YouTube videos and scream about all the things they were doing wrong. We had to stop watching after 10pm, our landlord said the neighbors thought we were fighting.
