I was waiting for ONTD to pick this up! He's so spot on, I love that he got sort of choked up at the end too.

It's hard not to get choked up watching this and all the images and videos of police brutality in general.

I really appreciated Cody's Some More News video on the topic as well. He wasn't shy about his comments, but moreover, he never ran from the brutality.

Let's hope, sis! After everything escalating for the worst in recent years, getting that kind of massive reform would be so vindicating(?), redeeming(?), uplifting(?). It would be make that nightmarish hellscape worth it.

I think COVID and the lack of governmental support has made citizens even more angrier and they now have the time to protest. I just really hope it will change things.

Joe Biden and his comments are not really making me feel as though we will actually change if he does become president.

YOU ARE SO RIGHT OMG

the town where i live is EXTREMELY pro police like the police is interconnected with EVERYTHING and they are very powerful and people worship them etc and just a few days ago the thought of me saying "defund the police" was a literal impossibility for many reasons. but now? i've been saying "defund the police" left and right to everybody and publicly idgaf, even to "friends" who have family members in the police. because i can now. there is an actual movement that supports me and my ideals

Last two minutes are the best two minutes and not even the full rant.

I'm in a surreal universe where my everyday rant has reached the world and is being shared by my IDOLS! https://t.co/UAX1S2IJxw

I saw it for the first time on the video earlier today as well. It's so powerful. You feel the emotional pain and the burden that Black Americans have been forced to carry for centuries. The pain is raw and valid and honest. It's a bubbling up of what people have been requesting acknowledgment for...too long.

i feel like if the SC elections (where bernie lost for the first time) had been AFTER the pandemic had hit it would have been a different story. he would have probably won that election and therefore had momentum for the rest of the states and had won the primaries

but in reality by the time the pandemic hit he had already lost SC and super tuesday etc 😔

Checked this for myself and sure enough: the South Carolina primary saw a massive upsurge in white voters from 2016 to 2020, going from 123,643 to 268,585. Non-white voters jumped by only 24k. Check for yourself:https://t.co/jQzBE65IbShttps://t.co/0Bi6wjpTlO pic.twitter.com/0XobE19dFl

Pretty hilarious that the black savior bullshit from centrists after the South Carolina primary was a complete fabrication and in fact just a huge white turnout increase in a staunchly conservative state where even the “libs” are really just moderates at best.
